Dependencies installation

Hamamatsu Camera Driver

• Unzip DCAM-API_25.10.7045.zip and execute Setup.exe.
• Select "USB Camera" option and follow the installation instructions keeping default settings.

K8 Camera Driver

• Execute PVCam_3.10.2.7-PMQI_Release_Setup.exe and follow the installation instructions keeping default settings.
• Unzip K8_camera_driver.zip. This will create a directory named pmusbwdf3.
• Navigate to C:\Program Files\Photometrics\PVCam\Drivers\.
• Replace the content of the PmUsbWdf3 directory with the files from the extracted pmusbwdf3 directory.
• Plug in K8 camera and make sure it is powered.
• Open Device Manager.
• Locate the K8 camera (typically listed under "Other devices" as "SLS USB DEVICE").
• Right-click on it and select "Update Driver".
• Choose "Browse my computer for drivers" and select the C:\Program Files\Photometrics\PVCam\Drivers\PmUsbWdf3 directory.
• Click "Next" and complete the installation keeping the default settings.

SmarAct dependencies: Visual C++ Redistributable

• Execute vc-redist_14.40.33810.0_x64.exe and follow the installation instructions keeping default settings.

WinPython

• Execute WinPython_3.13.5.0slim_Setup.exe and follow the installation instructions keeping default settings.

.NET 8.0 Runtime

• If prompted during software startup and an internet connection is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install .NET 8.0.
• If no internet connection is available, execute windowsdesktop-runtime-8.0.24-win-x64.exe and follow the installation instructions keeping default settings.
